【Macintosh】Mac買い換え時なのか？ 「PowerMac G5」
まぁ今の「PowerMacG4」からのアップグレードって言ったらやっぱりこれですよね。
Apple Power Mac G5 (デュアル2.0GHz, 512MB, 160GB, ATI Radeon 9600 64MB, SuperDrive) [M9032J/A]
しかし、どうせハイグレードなら…って感じで「Apple Store」でBTOシミュレーションすると物欲まみれな僕には到底買えませんorz。
BTOの内容は、夢を見すぎずに現実的に考えると、まずは2GHzDual。なんか初っぱなからハイローどっちつかずで微妙とか言われそうだけど「AGP」を買ったときもラインナップ中のど真ん中、450MHzを選択したんで…。んで、お次はメモリ。「PowerMac」はメモリ換装楽なんで、ぶっちゃけいりません。256MBx2でおっけー。1GBx2ってのも、ちょっと引かれますが高すぎですね。後々換装する感じでしょう。HDDはどうせ後から増設しそうなんで、160GBでもいいんだけど、今、G4に入ってるHDD(80GBだったかな？)がぱっつんぱっつんなんで、お財布がホクホクなら250GBイキです。光学ドライブはもち「SuperDrive」…と思ったけど、なんかいらないかも…前にDVD±Rドライブ使ってたんですが(IO-DATAの一番最初のやつ)試しに1枚焼いた以来一回も使わない内にドライブが逝ってしまわれました。外部メディアにバックアップとかしない人なんで。という事で「コンボドライブ」に格下げ。グラフィックカードは出来る事なら「ATI Radeon 9800 XT」にしたいところ。やはりOSXだとグラフィックは速い事に越した事無いです。「PCI-X ギガビット Ethernet」いらない。僕には使い道すらわからないんで…。「Fibre Channel PCI」もいらないですね。「モデム」もいらないってか、これ標準にしなくていいと思うんですけど…。「Bluetooth モジュール」は欲しいところですね。夢が広がる。「AirMac Extreme カード」うーんどうでしょ？まぁいらないか。「Keyboard&Mouse」はもちろんWireless。OSは日本語。ディスプレイは迷いますねぇ…他社製品の液晶を安く手に入れるのもアリですが「Cinema Display」は発表当時(その頃は20インチCinemaしかラインナップに無くたしか498,000円)から憧れていたんで…。はやりここもど真ん中「CinamaHD23インチ」あたりか？そんなこんなで再計算してみると…
…553,200円也。さすがにこの価格でぽちっとなは出来ません。orz

What are you saying, man? I understand everyones got their own thoughts and opinions, but really? Listen, your weblog is awesome. I like the energy you put into it, especially with the vids and the pics. But, come on. Theres gotta be a better way to say this, a way that doesnt make it seem like everyone here is stupid!

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It's very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.

Hey! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any issues with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing many months of hard work due to no data backup. Do you have any solutions to protect against hackers?
