【Mini-Z】「カーボンボディ」
といってもまだ試作段階。
一応モデナなんですけど友人からは、「車のカバーじゃん」って言われてますｗ
軽くするならボディをってことで思い切って作ってみました。
とりあえずやってみようと言うことで、できるだけコストを削りました。
作り方は至って簡単、カーボンクロスなるものをサランラップでシールドしたモデナの使用済みホワイトボディにかぶせてポリエチレン樹脂に硬化剤を混ぜてカーボンクロスに塗りたくって放置すること約1時間。
ポリエチレン樹脂が硬化したら、ボディに関係ない部分のクロスを切り離して、中に埋まってるモデナを強引に引き抜きましたｗ。おかげでホワイトボディのモデナは見るも無惨な姿に…。
小さなもの作る用のカーボンクロスではないため繊維の束が太くてスケール感をあんまり出せなかったけど、もともと何層か積層して製作するものを1層しかしていないため重量はこの状態で20g切ってますｗまだまだボディの裏側に無駄なポリエチレン樹脂が張り付きまくっているので削り込んでいけばだいぶ軽くなるかと。
しかし、このもっさり感はさすがにいけてないですね。次作るときはもうちょっと考えたいと思います。
まだ走れる段階ではないですが、強引にいけそうならICS基盤のシャシーで今週末走ってみようと思います。
