【Macintosh】ディ、ディスプレイが…
えー、自宅Macのディスプレイがとうとう逝ってしまわれました。
今となっては使ってる奇特な人はいないと思われる「バッチぐぃーん現象」で有名(?)なApple純正StudioDisplay17inchCRTです。
はじめて自宅Macは2000年購入したPowerMacG4(AGP graphics)450MHz。パソコンを購入すること自体がはじめてだったので当時は何も考えず、この純正StudioDisplayを同時購入。
買って1年経ってはじめてバッチぐぃーん現象に遭遇。友達のMac使用者にも買い換えを勧められていましたが、とうとう逝ってしまわれました…。
で、普通なら買い換える所なんですけど、自宅Macと職場Macのスペックがあまりにもかけ離れているため、自宅Macは「ネットできればいいやぁ」方向で使ってるんです。

んなわけで自宅Macにこれ以上投資する気にもなれず、友人のやさしさにも守られ、使っていないディスプレイを借りることに（もしかしてもらっていいのか？w）。とか思ってたら「バッチぐぃーん現象」勃発当時には無かったこんなコミュニティが!!→Studio Display障害報告掲示板
とりあえずは友人の物を借りるとしてもうちょっとこのStudioDisplayとの付き合いは続きそうです。

個人的には画面が広くて使える物への買い替えをお勧めしますが、
タダで直してもらえるならもう少し使ってあげてもいいかもね。
ただ、クレームをつけるのは意外と疲れる（経験豊富）ので注意。
ちなみに壊れかけのディスプレイを引き取るのはお勧めしません。
近頃は廃棄にもお金がかかる時代ですから（CRTは4,000円）
僕は液晶が欲しくて買い替えたわけではないのですよ…

とりあえず今結構色々忙しいんで時間が空いたときにディスプレイ取りに行きます。
Studio DisplayについてはサポセンにTELしたり取りに来てもらったりするのが意外とめんどくさそうで今現在何もしてないっす…

Hands down, Apple's app store wins by a mile. It's a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I'm not sure I'd want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
