【Mini-Z】02RM 鬼チューン「Atomic T2 mini-z motor」
前に紹介した。AD基盤にSi4562DY4段のシャシー(02RM)は、装備していたAtomicのモーターマウントはPTクルーザー(015RM)に移植してしまったので手持ちのモーターマウントでは180クラスモーターが使えません。でも、このマシンは鬼チューン仕様が大前提でくんでいるものなので、海外製ミニッツ用モーター最高峰のAtomic T2 Motorを入れることにしました。

ちなみに今まで使ったモーターの中で一番速いものではありません。
はやりミニ四駆モーターには敵いません。確かにプラズマダッシュとか使えば相当な鬼チューンとなるでしょう。しかしミニ四駆のモーターは適正電圧が違うため危険です。そっちの方はあまり知識がないので偉そうなことは言えませんが、2.4V〜3.0V用に設計されたモーターに4.8Vもの電圧で回すわけですから、モーターはキンキンに熱くなるし、基盤も怪しげな動きをするようになったりします。僕は基盤を第一に考え、ミニ四駆のモーター使わないようにしています。
ちょっとミニッツで使ったことのあるモーターをリストアップしてみます。
純正ノーマルモーター（京商）
可も不可もなく純正モーター。燃費良、スクワット等から出ているBB缶に換装することで燃費を維持しつつ性能を上げられる。コストパフォーマンス良し。
Xspeed モーター V（京商）
AD基盤が出るまではそこそこ性能がいいと思っていけど、AD基盤にポン付けするだけですごく速くなる。それこそAD基盤専用設計かと思うほど速い。しかし、モーターの当たり外れも多い。
ハイトルク(HT)モーター（イーグル）
多分ネオジウムマグ搭載のトルク型モーター。僕が使った最初で最後のイーグル製モーター。FET多段にしてもあまり恩恵は感じられず、燃費もよろしくない。当時、これとは別の高回転型モーターの「SR」というものがあった。今現在ではBB缶搭載の高回転型「BB1」とトルク型「BB2」がある。後者はネオジウムマグ搭載。僕の周りだけかもしれないけど、BBシリーズはモーターの線が切れたり、ベアリングが壊れたりと寿命が短いと言われている。
曙（スクワット）
XMODS用に買ったためミニッツでの使用感はあまり覚えてない。FET換装必須。初期の頃はFET換装の表記がなく結構叩かれていた。
Atomic Z1 Motor（EGR）
香港のEGRの初期のモディファイドモーター。プラズマBBネオジウム缶に一目惚れで購入。FET換装必須だけど、限界は意外と近い。同時期にトルク重視の「T1」、後にグレードアップした「Z2」「T2」が出ている。
Atomic STOCK Motor（EGR）
EGRのFET換装無で使えるモディファイドモーター。性能の割には燃費がよい。コストパフォーマンスも悪くないが、海外通販必須なため、大人しか買えないw。ちなみにAtomicブランドのモーターはすべてプラズマBBネオジウム缶。プラズマ缶のエンドベルはブラシのあたりが出しやすいと言う利点がある。
プラズマダッシュモーター（田宮）
モーター缶自体が特殊で180クラスのモディファイドモーターのようなエンドベルを持つモーター。その性能は片方のリアタイヤを手で押さえてスロットルをあけるともう片方のリアタイヤは遠心力でホイールから浮きます。僕が使っていた頃は京商のターボアンプと併用していましたが、変な挙動をし始めてからは封印してます。高回転型モーターなのか、低速でのトルクはもっさりした感じ。
ウルトラダッシュモーター（田宮）
確かパッケージ裏面での性能はプラズマダッシュに近かったはず。低速でのトルクはこちらが上。
スプリントダッシュモーター（田宮）
パワーダッシュモーター（田宮）
十分速いけど、ここら辺のグレードのモーターまで下げれば使えなくはないと思う(FET換装は必須)。だけど、燃費が悪すぎる。ちなみにこれ以上グレードを下げるとカーボンブラシではなくブラシは銅板だったりする。
