【Modify】Larini ‘Sports’ Manifold交換後 街乗りインプレ
実際にエキマニ交換が完了したのは07/11/29。
その後は普段通り通勤・街乗りにしか使ってないのですが、サーキット走行はまだまだ先になりそうなので、今日まで2週間のインプレです。
いまだに停止直後はサイドインテークから焼ける臭いがします。
「エリーゼはエキマニ換えると効果がある」
どっかで見たような、聞いたような気がしなくもないですが、Lariniでも「'Sports' ManifoldとClub Sport Systemの組み合わせで15-20hpが得られる」と言っております。
まぁそんな文句はどこでも言ってたりするので特に信用してません。
ちょっとここでLariniに問い合わせた時、返信メールにエキマニの売り文句が書いてあったので、その中でも改良点をチョイスして適当翻訳で掲載。
・効率の最適化ステンレススチール"fast road"仕様の4-2-1スポーツマニフォールド
・プライマリ φ45mm 24"、セコンダリφ51mm 8"、アウトレット2.5"
・低-中速トルクの改良
・スロットルレンスポンスの向上
・"fast road"と"normal"においてフラットスポットの改善
他にも鏡面仕上げやSUS304、TIG溶接仕様、取付け簡単(!!!?)等ありますが、性能面に対してはこのぐらい。
で、インプレですが、取付け完了時に書いたように車を受け取ってすぐは、変わったことを感じ取れませんでした。
毎日乗っているエリーゼから作業中の4日間は、カルディナに乗っていたからということもあるのでしょうが、エキマニ交換による排気音の変化もないし、何か変わったことと言えば、車から降りると「焼ける臭いがする」といった変化のみ。
ちょっとした直線で、僕なりの街乗り高回転(4,500〜6,000rpm付近)まで引っ張ってみた…
んーあんま変わった気がしない。
「抜けが良くなった」
という感じもありません。
その後、街乗り時に極低速(いわいる1速発進アクセルオフ巡行900〜1,100rpm)で違いが分かりました。
いままでアクセルオフでいると、回転が安定せず止まってしまう感じだったのが、そのままの回転を維持して巡行してくれます。と、一応効果はあるようです。
ちなみに排気音も変わってなければ、燃費もほとんど変わってません。
それでもあまり効果を感じられなかったのでエアクリーナーの清掃、あとECUリセットもやってみました。それからちょっと暖気時間を延ばしてみたり…。
そして昨日。
何となく効果が出てきたのかな？全体的にトルクが上がった気がします。特に感じるのはエンジンが十分に暖まった時に全体的な回りが軽く感じます。
が、このエキマニが狙っていて感じやすい点は
低-中速のトルク、スロットルレスポンス、フラットスポットの改善。
低-中速のトルクは前述どおり、極低速にのみ感じられる。
スロットルレンスポンスは一切感じられず。
フラットスポットはもともとスタンダードエンジンでは感じられないので分からず。
こう見てみるとLariniエキマニが狙っている部分ではないところで、ほんのり感じられている程度。
やりプラシーボかと思ってしまう。
サーキット行ったりして数字として結果が出れば分かりやすいんですけどねぇ…。
手っ取り早く効果を体感するなら、以前使ったエアクリーナーにしてみるのもいいかも。
なんせ、吸気音だけ勇ましく3,000rpmまではトルクが薄かったんで…。
その薄くなった部分をエキマニの排気効率で補えるか？
