【Maintenance】オルタネーター熱対策 外気導入追加
僕のエリーゼは07年12月にエキマニを交換。純正エキゾーストヒートシールドが使えなくなることがわかっていたので最初からバンテージ巻きをして、08年1月にオルタへの外気導入で熱対策もしました。
が、09年1月にオルタはお亡くなりになりました。
その後オルタは無事交換したのですが、ヒートシールドを設置するにはオルタ本体、エアコンコンプレッサー、エキマニの間に空間が足りなく、仕方なく外気導入のみでの対応。
でも、このままではまずい。
と言う事で、以前から考えていたオルタへの外気導入を増やしました。
右側サイドダクト内。
3本ともオルタネーターに向かってます。
やり過ぎ感は否めませんが、オルタの事を考えるとこれでも足りなそう。
でも、エンジンルーム自体への外気導入が減るのも、ちと良くなさそうなんで気になるところ。
以前使っていた、ハイテックのフレキシブルダクトホースは形状変更の自由度が低いので、50φのアルミフレキシブルダクトに変更。
エンジンルーム側から。
純正の黒いホースはエンジンハンガー下側からエアコンコンプレッサーとオルタネーターの間ぐらいに出口を設置。
2本はそのままオルタネーターへ出口を設置。
ここからが今回のメイン。
左側ダクトから、オルタへの外気導入。
下のアルミダクトホースが新しく入れたもので、上側のファンネルが付いているホースはエアクリ用です。
エンジンルームから。
ミッション上あたりを通す。
ずっと前から考えている、自作インダクションボックスがここら辺を占拠する予定なので、とりあえず空けときますw。
ヘッダータンク下からエキマニ上まで持ち上げるのですが、ウォーターラインをかいくぐりつつ、直接的な接触を避けて取り回し。
エキマニ上を直線で通って…
オルタネーター端子部に出口。
固定はエアコンホースから。
ちなみにエアコンなし個体ではオルタネーター本体がエキマニ下についていて、こっち側からの外気導入は出来ません。
取り付けは今のところすべてタイラップ。
ダクトホース自体が曲げをつけて直線部は伸ばしてやると、結構そのカタチで固定してくれるので大丈夫かと。
さすがにエキマニ近くはステンバンドに切り替えなきゃまずそうですね。
